oh oops, this should be an intro post

Hello and welcome to [community profile] note_to_project! This is a comm for little rants (or raves; you can share your good stuff, too!) to those projects we're working on -- whether it's a craft project, a programming project, a cooking project, a life project, an organization project, a school or work project, or something else, fannish or otherwise, you are welcome to write little notes to it here.

Please put anything long behind a cut-tag, or anything that causes you to break out large images/image macros, etc. ^_^

Also, if you feel like co-modding, I don't really anticipate anything modly needing to happen here, but it's always good to have more than one pair of eyes on a comm. <3

Dear first audiofic project1:

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I have to download [title withheld] again? WHY? WHY? WHYYYYY?

*mutter* This would suck less if I hadn't deleted it twice thinking I was done with it. Lesson learned: even if it's bad, don't delete it!

(The fic is really good, though! It will be worth it! Plus... [character] in a [location].)

Tentative love anyway,
Me

(Withholding things in case my recordee wants to be surprised by which fic I'm recording. But feel free to guess in comments. ^_^)

1: Technically I have recorded one, but that was of my own fic, and this feels more "real" to me somehow.

Knitting Project

Dear Never-ending Blanket from Hell,

I've been working on you off and on for over a year and even though I am 2/3rds of the way finished, I really just want to rip you out completely and move on.  I know.  I know.  I've taken you all over the country in this past year and shown you off and worked on you on planes and boats and even couches but I haven't picked you up for a while because I really, really think that if I do, I'm going to start ripping.  I love the yarn and the pattern is wonderful but there is something about you that makes me want to let you go and use the yarn for 500 dishcloths instead.  So, for now, your home is that gorgeous wicker basket by my armchair and I'm going to pretend you don't exist.  Maybe I'll eventually find the courage to undo many hundreds of hours of work and move on.

Love,
Me
